BSG blog reviews

Post by Homotransferensis »

This just a ¨hello" as I´ve only just registered and a quick message to Bear to let him know that I writing a series of entries in my blog homotransferensis.wordpress.com about the BSG soundtracks. These are also published on the bsg.spain.com site in Spanish, where I moderate for this site. Anyway, that´s it really. Just so you know its out there and how much I love and appreciate the whole collection. Its a real inspiration! Thanks.

Hi there (or better: ¡Hola!). Thanks for posting this. Sounds interesting, I'll visit your page for sure.
I edited a little typo in your blog's name, there was one letter missing but google found it anyway. Also, I took the liberty to insert a direct link to your page.

For those of you who read Spanish or just want to practise, the following link is the official BSG Spain website where, as I mentioned above, I´ve also posted my entries on BM´s music.

Maybe Bear can forward this to Raya.
I remember her practicing her Spanish while being in Ubeda, and being told she has a beautiful accent...
Maybe Bear can give us an update on her Spanish language skills...

Well, either way she has the possibility to read it either in English at my homotransferensis blog and then read an identical verision in Spanish on the BSG Spain site, that way she can see how well she's doing with her Spanish! Either way, it's there to be read and enjoyed!

Gosh! I am honoured, truly! You have no idea how much your music ( and especially all the BSG soundtracks) means to me. In the end I realised that the only way to express what I felt about it was to actually "write" and hence the blog. Then the Spanish BSG website asked me to be a moderator and write about your music in Spanish (I live in Spain and I am bilingual, so I am hoping you will gain a lot more fans in Spain!.
I am mow working on BSG´s Season three and then so on an so forth until I cover the entiry BSG discography. Its a joy to do it and a pleasure to listen to your music as often as possible. It is so rare to have film of TV music of this quality; most material is absolute rubbish!!

Anyway, thank you so much for your reply! A real surprise!!

I got one liiiiittle problem with your reviews: You didn't mention "Prelude to War", my favorite track of all BSG CDs. :D How come?

I´ll have to listen to it again and see what I think. In any case, I love it ALL essentially but at the end of the day you have to make a selection and write about the tracks that, for whatever reason, mean something special to you and for you it´s Prelude to War.....Thank you for replying. :D
