George Parigian Jr. from Somerville, Massachusetts. I was drawn to your music because my father is Armenian and because I heard the Duduk being played so masterfully by Chris Bleth on Battlestar Gallactica!

His Duduk playing on "Act of Contrition" was hauntingly beautiful! I just got finished listening to Diaspora Oratorio........unbelievable the feeling this music can evoke....such sadness....beautifully sensual and sad!

Music evokes very strong emotion from me...it always has. I appreciate your bringing a bit of Armenian culture to a wider audience through use of the Duduk on BSG.

Thanks Bear!

Hi george362. Honored that you picked up on that and felt so strongly about it. Indeed, the reason I incorporated the duduk into the score in the first place was to represent my own Armenian heritage. The bagpipes represented the obvious Scotch-Irish side too. They were my personal musical thumb print. :)

Hello. Name's James, not James bond sorry, but I am glad to be on here now, huge fan of your music. I reside in a place called New Jersey, and I'm probably one of those late starters, first heard your score to Human Target, and I looked for all other works by you, BSG, The Cape, Caprica, etc. and your music found a place on my iPhone. I do admit to being a huge fan of other TV show scores, not many but theres still those few out there the use real orchestra like yourself. I actually just got into watching BSG xD but I hope to hear what other music you've put into it as I'm still enjoying plenty of your fantastic work that you've released so far. I hope to become a composer one day as well, already began writing some sheet music and what not, I've learned an important rule though, try to use as many interesting instruments as you can!

Keep up the good work,

HI James,

Great to have you on the forum. I hope you'll have fun around here.
I noticed that you already posted on some other threads. Super.

You'll fit right in.

Agreed. At first when I heard it would return for a 2nd season I was thrilled. Then I saw all the changes that were made, lack of bear's music was a bad move already, thats a given. But they changed the characters and the way they acted, I was disappointed. Had it of stayed more to season 1's presentation, it would probably still be on, which is a shame because it indeed was a wicked show :/

Exactly! Although I still liked the show in season 2, it simply wasn't the same.

Hello from Louisville, KY. Been a film score geek since I bought Star Wars on 8-track when I was a kid. Really enjoy your music and the site. It is the only way I can listen to music from TWD at the moment. Also, haven't been able to get your track from Temporal Distortion out of my head since hearing it awhile back. So thanks for that earworm.

Thanks for the music and inspiration. Take care from the Bluegrass State.

Hi Cbbky,

Welcome to the boards.
It's always great to have another soundtrack fan roaming the boards.
You were talking about listening to The Walking Dead score.
We are trying to get an official one released (it's more difficult than it seems).
