Oh Bear,
Please stop saying how good this will be. I have always been a formidable Queen fan, and listening to your rehearsel video on you tube just gives me the longing to come and watch you guys, but I'm sadly on the wrong continent. Hearing you say it's going to sound amazing doesn't help.
Yes please do this yearly, and maybe it'll take place on a moment I am in the US (one can dream right?)
Elin

What she said. Sometimes it's not easy living in Europe while all the cool things happen in the States. But we got the Bear ballet "Three Faces". Beat that, America!

Beat that, America! ok, ok. all the cool things happen in the states or germany, small comfort for the rest of europe . perhaps the indignants got it all wrong and the motto should be ' more bear for everyone!'. (and more beer, too!)

Well, not to be nit picky or anything, but actually Spain has gotten the most Bear-sightings when you're talking about Europe. Battlestar Galactica Symphony in Tenerife (although it's actually located closer to the African continent the Canary Islands are technically a part of Spain) just was phenomenal, and this year Bear's contribution to the Ubeda film music festival was definitely one of the bigger contributions of all invited composers. So all in all I don't think us Europeans are in a position to complain about not having enough opportunities to hear Bear's music live, even more so, we are the only ones that have had the opportunity to hear the symphonic versions... But I'm all for more Bear music performed live all around the globe. Elin

Just saw that Queen (as in the actual group) updated their FB profile with this little tidbit of knowledge: "Please note: This is unofficial, but thought we would highlight it. Wonderfully the show is benefiting a local AIDS charity called AIDS Project LA." And then a link to Bear's tribute show. Not bad, being promoted by Queen...

Well, sorry my lovely Europeans, I love you all but... I must say that the Queen show KICKED ASS!! Words fail to describe how epic that night was. It was one of the most magical performances I've ever done. I'm assembling some photos / video for those of you who missed out, but... damn... that was incredible.

Your rehearsal already sounded superb, so I can only imagine how absolutely stunning the actual gig must have been. No way for me to have been there this time round, but yeah maybe one of the next years, if you do opt to make this a yearly feast. And admit, it, there is no reason why you shouldn't indulge in something so much fun... Elin
