Bear,

I can understand if you're not allowed to talk about BSG B&C (all of the legal stuff..etc) but I at least wanted to say that I HOPE that you are working on the music for it. Because if you're not, I would be very unhappy. I'm sure there are other members of your forum and blog who feel the same.

I would watch the pilot but it just wouldn't be " Battlestar " without McCreary doing the music for it.

So Say We All ?

Marc

Based on what I've read recently concerning B&C, I'm not very optimistic. SyFy Channel in their infinite "wisdom" is now thinking about showing the pilot online and not on tv. That's assuming they even bother showing the pilot at all. I really hate the direction SyFy has taken over the past couple of years.

But of course, whether B&C is shown online or on tv, I can't even fathom anyone doing the music besides Bear.

What..wait..what..what did I just watch, that honestly looked like it was on par with the new Star Trek movies are far as production value. How the hell do they honestly think they can just air something like that online, I can't stand Syfy, I just can't stand it. I'm honestly baffled as why they can't see the value in airing something like that instead of some new reality show about people who make monster masks or whatever that garbage was.

I'm 50% pumped for the show, 50% pumped for the jams Bear is going to be giving us. Bring on the taikos.

I just realized something, Ronald D Moore isnt involved with the show, I am now 25% percent pumped for the show, 25% pumped for the jams Bear is going to give us, and now an adjusted 50% concerned about a lack of humanity in the show, and more focused on just action/plot. I noticed a great deal of CGI as opposed to real sets as far as I can tell. I hope this doesn't turn out like the Star Wars prequels did.

Bear, I know you can't tell us much, but can you maybe tell us what you found most enjoyable about the pilot, and the thing that gave you the most concern?

It's almost entirely greenscreened, I believe, because the BSG sets were destroyed and they don't have the budget to remake them.
