I haven't heard of Bonobo... what kind of music?

Sort of chillout... Different albums are different by genre a little bit. Here's his website: bonobomusic.com, check it out :)

I really like a lot of music of every kind, so it's hard to just name some.

However, i'm currently a lot into Ambient, Chillout, Psybient, Downtempo music and stuff, such has Vibrasphere, Zero Cult, Side Liner, etc.

If you never listened to this, i recommend it !

I know !

I'm sure you don't have a lot of time but since you love music, maybe i can help you discover other tracks as cool as this one.

Here I made a little Youtube Playlist with a lot of Chillout & Downtempo music like this :

I hope you get the time to check it out !

(total : 23 videos for about 3 hours of music)

I've been a big fan of a singer/songwriter named Mason Jennings for a while. I think he writes some of the most beautiful lyrics and guitar melodies. I also love Led Zeppelin, I love the power they produced with their instruments and of course Robert Plant's voice.

I would like to help you discover a french artist named Igorrr, this track for instance : http://youtu.be/gWca1X7nFGo

Be aware, it's very experimental.

Hi Bear,

I came across this youtube fragment which I found very interesting. It's about Max Richter's recomposing Vivaldi's seasons. I found the fragment really interesting, so I think I'm going to buy the record and have a listen.

But it made me wonder which pieces of music you would like to get your hands on and recompose, if you had the opportunity?

Elin

Elin,

Wow... thanks for sharing that. That looks incredible. I'm listening to the samples on the main website now and it sounds fantastic. I can't wait to hear the full set.

I really wanna see how the recomposed score looks, I love to study written scores and see how that gets translated from the page to the performance and recording.

If I were to do a "recomposed" style project, I think it'd possibly be one of Bartok's string quartets.
