Hi Alexander... nice Cerberus logo! :)

Hey Paula!

Hey Benjamin... pick up that cello. It's never too late.

Hey KrayzieCMB... no plans for the east coast just yet. But, hopefully. I'd love to stop by the NY comic con at least.

Thanks Bear! I bought a cello a couple of weeks ago and am getting lessons :D One thing that I would really love to learn to play is 'Violence and Variations' (Unfinished Business), so I am just wondering, is there any sheet music for it out there? I really love your string compositions!

Get the BSG Solo Piano Music Book from Hal Leonard. It's arranged for piano, but all the parts were transcribed (by yours truly) directly from the orchestral scores. So, you'll be able to read the left hand parts and figure out the VC parts pretty easily. :)

Hi everyone!

I'm Mike from Austria and I just discovered that forum while I was searching the website for some sheet music.

Maybe I'm one of the few in here that has never seen any episode of Battlestar Galactica ;)

I came in touch with Bears compostions when I saw the movie "Rest Stop".
There I fell in love with the great guitar songs on that soundtrack.
Especially "Tom and Merilyn". I've bought the OST and I realy love that song.

Sadly I haven't found any sheet music (guitar) for it.
So if anybody knows if it is possible to buy it anywhere I'd be glad to hear about it.

I've also listened to other compositions of Bear and I also like them (the orchestrial sound of BG or Walking Dead) but I realy love the guitar song "Tom & Marilyn" while driving in the car!

/Mike

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the boards.
Ad far as I know, there is no sheet music available from Rest Stop.
As you might have noticed if you surfed the boards a bit, is that Bear surfs these boards from time to time, and when he does, ha replies to quite a few messages. So feel free to ask him about it.

I have created a new topic for Rest Stop in the 'Other Projects' thread. can't believe there wasn't one already.

So feel free to post your questions in there.

Have fun with this board, and do check out som of the other stuff Bear has done. It's great.
You can go and listen to fragments of it on this site BTW...

Elin

Hey Mike! Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum.

Nice to see that my music for "Rest Stop" is still floating around and catching people's ears. It's been a while since. Every once in a while, I'll be skimming through old tracks and find those pieces (from Rest Stop 2 especially) like "Tom and Marilyn" and really enjoy them. That was a lot of fun.

There are no guitar tabs or anything available at the moment. But, it's a pretty simple tune. You should be able to piece it together. :)

Hey Mike... been thinking this over some more. Check out the "REST STOP" section that Elin made. You'll find a special surprise. :)

Hi :) I'm Francesca, from Italy.
I discovered Bear's music thanks to BSG and It was love at first listen. Of course, Walking Dead and Eureka (at the beginning of the first episode of 5° series I thought "uah!! that's Galactica style" ) soundtracks are spectacular too.
I watched the trailer of "Knights of badassdom", the music is your, right? It looks very cool, I hope it can be distributed soon!

Hi Francesca,

Well, the music in the TRAILER isn't mine, but I am currently scoring that movie, yes. I hope you will all have the chance to see it soon! :)
