The original (joke) title that everyone on the show was using to refer to that scene was "Barnmageddon." Funny, and I suppose accurate. But, I don't think it does the piece of music justice. :)

Take it for what you will (not meant as an insult for those who think they are dumb), but that would almost sound like a Michael Giacchino cue/soundtrack track title ;-)

Thats what I was thinking too.

What with:

Lost:
-Leggo my Eko
-Dharmacide
-All Jack'd Up
-Locke'ing Horns
-Karma Jin-Itiative
-The Swinging Bendulum
-Sawyer Jones and the Temple of Boom

Fringe: (Although this appears to have been taken up by Chris Tilton,
since to my knowledge, Giacchino only did the Pilot)

-The Bishop of Essex Country
-Connecting all the Fringe-cidents
-Reiden up to Madness
-Saved by the Belly
-Give my regards to Fraudway

Star Trek:

-Nailin' the Kelvin
-Nero Death Experience

BACK ON TOPIC:

Bear, just realized one cue that HAS to make it on the soundtrack, and its a more upbeat/action theme.

I honestly can't remember for sure but it was definitely during season 1 (I think in "Guts" & "Vatos") whenever they were moving around in Atlanta.

The two occasions in particular that come to mind are:

-When Glenn is helping Rick get away in the beginning of "Guts"
-When Daryl and Rick and everyone else are going through the buildings looking for Merle in "Vatos"

All I ask Bear is that you PLEASE include the music cue from

::SPOILER!!!::

when Sophia comes out of the barn and Rick has to step up and take her out. This is hands down some of your finest work and I very much look forward to hearing it on the soundtrack.

Dear starqrtrs,

Welcome to the boards.

If you start reading this thread at the begnning you will see that that cue has been requested many times, and Bear will for sure put it on the coming soundtrack. the name of the track is still up for discussion.

Elin

I'm sorry I didn't read the post from the beginning, but to be honest I had no interest in reading pages of requests as I thought it was just a request line, not a active discussion thread.

Anyway, I won't be posting again. Sorry I didn't read the rules. Thanks for the opportunity though! Looking forward to seeing the completed track list when it hits stores.

Dear Starqrts,

Don't feel bad, there really aren't any rules. I think Bear's sole rule was 'Don't be a dick' if I'm not mistaken.

Please post some more, we enjoy everybody's voice here.
if you would have read the whole thread you would see that there are some funny parts in there (like the naming of the piece you requested).

Hope to see you here again...

Elin

I thought the piece over Dale's funeral was very lyrical and moving and would be an obvious one for the soundtrack.

I liked the father / son talk music from the recent episode. I was too stressed to notice the music in the remainder of the episode^^ 24 hours later and I'm still on edge....

hi everyone
i couldn't resist joining this forum and participating in choosing the tracks that will be included in TWD soundtrack album. i've become a huge huge fan of TWD and especially of its score!
i would LOVE to see "The Hand", and all the tracks composed for "Better Angels" included in the soundtrack, great music!! Can't wait for the last episode, i'm sure i'd definitely like the season finale's score to be included too, i bet it'll be great!!
thanks

Hey guys, so I'm starting to think about assembling a soundtrack album for THE WALKING DEAD.

What are the cues you think should go on the album?

I'm hoping to eventually release a soundtrack that includes music from both Season 1 and Season 2. So, as the new season airs, try to think listen for cues that you think would be good on the soundtrack album.

Thanks!

I'm shocked no one has brought this score up......

Season 2 the "18 Miles Out" episode -

The score plays when Rick puts Randall back into the rear of the car, and Rick begins speaking to Shane. That score is very powerful, really added to the scene. Certainly has to be considered.

To be more specific, it is the score playing right before "Civilian" plays.

I believe you mean Shane? Daryl wasn't even in this episode.

Also Bear, WOW is all I can say regarding the finale.

That entire action cue has to go on the soundtrack, ESPECIALLY pretty much everything from when Andrea gets left behind until the end of that cue.

Also the ending sequence's cue as it pans to the prison would be nice.
