I enjoyed it.

Technically it was really outstanding. The action was very well shot and the locations looked great. I don't think they've ever quite matched the emotional height of a man staring at his own wife through the scope, but there's still plenty of interesting stuff going on.

I thought the ending was stretched out a bit too long. I had decided that the deer was a zombie deer a while before...

I noticed the longer bleed-in to the main title, which was an interesting bit of musical suspense. This episode did seem a bit more melodic and sweeter than most of the first season was, and the action cues conversely a bit more unsettling.

I liked the main theme subtly weaved into the narrative in the initial scenes after the recap. Then, during the zombie procession I heard something percussive that felt, in a way, like a helicopter rotor in slow motion. I’m not sure what that was but it was really cool it gave the scene a certain primeval dynamic.

Plotwise, it's nice they've started using machette's ;)

in the scene where they're attempting to enter the tent I heard some sort of metallic balm crickets along with the dissonant strings...

great opening with the espansion of the main theme though

I have to say that what really struck me about the score for the last episode was how little of it there was, especially compared to other modern shows and films where they barely have a moments silence.

The silences in this episode gave it some really eerie moments, and it made the times when there were music all the more affective as it hadn't been blaring in your ears all the time.

That isn't to say that the music wasn't masterful when it was playing, though! I don't know whether it's just because I hadn't heard it in a while, if it was a different mix, or if it was just the way it segued in from the cue that was playing, but I found the main title music to be really effective this episode. But I think it's the effective placement of the music (or lack of) in the show that makes it that little bit better.
